Controlling Blender
We want to be able to move the vertices, edges, and faces in Blender. We can move, scale, and extrude in the vertices, edges, and faces in Blender.
Before we move them we have to select them first in editing mode.
There are 2 modes in Blender. they are called Object Mode and Edit Mode.
Object Mode.

In Object Mode we can control the entire object.
Blender automatically starts in Object Mode.
Locate the Object Mode Button.

Click on the 2 arrows next to Object Mode to enter object mode.
When we are in object mode we cannot select the vertices, edges, or faces.

In Edit Mode we can control the vertices, edges, and faces.
Blender does not start in Edit Mode. You have to change to Edit Mode.
Locate the Object Mode Button.

Click the two arrows.
Click Edit Mode.
