How to work with tables...
Here is what a table looks like:

Tables are made up of columns and rows. The columns are up and down and the rows go from side to side. Each box is called a cell.

Tables Part 2 How to Make a Table:
Before anything start Microsoft Word by clicking on Start, Programs, and then Microsoft Word. On this webpage you are seeing pictures of what to do. When you click you need to click in Microsoft Word.
Click Table on the menu bar. ![]()
Move your mouse down to insert. 
Click on the table.![]()
Click on Auto Format. 
Go through the Table Styles until you find the one you want.
You should have a check mark on Heading Rows and First Column![]()
Click Ok when you find the table style you want.
Select the number of rows and columns that you want.
Now fill in each cell to finish your chart. You can use the cursor keys to move around the table.
Tables Part 3 How to sort data on a table
Tables make it very easy to sort date. Tables will alphabetize and order numbers for you.
Make sure you clicked somewhere on your table. You don't want to highlight anything. Just make sure you have the blinking cursor on the table.
Click on Table. ![]()
Click on Sort.
. If you don't see the word sort after you click table leave your mouse on the 2 arrows pointing down. This will reveal the rest of the menu.
Where it says "Sort By" you need to pick the column that you want to sort. If you have more than 2 rows the title of the column will appear for you.
Look at the "type box." The "type box" says text, number, or date. Pick the one that refers to your data. If it is a number select number, if it is text select text, and if it is a date select date.
When you are done click ok.
