The Device Manager

The Device Manager manages all the devices.  We can use the Device Manager as a way to check the health of our computer.

1. Locate the icon named My Computer. 

2. Right click the icon My Computer.

3. Click Properties. 

4. Click the tab named Hardware.

5. Click the button named Device Manager. 

6. Here is what you would now see.

7. Errors will pop for you with a red letter X or a yellow exclamation point.

8. Click on the plus sign to see more in each category. 

9. This is one place to start looking for problems.
