Finding out about all the buttons in Internet Explorer
![]()
With the File button you can do a couple of useful things.
If you click File and then Print. You can print the page.

I also like to use File and then New Window. This will open a new window so I have two windows open at the same time. With two windows open I could compare two things. I could compose an e-mail at the same time I read an e-mail.

By Clicking Edit and then Select All we could select all the text and then copy it.
We can also use
This feature will find specific words on the web page. Click it once.
Type in the word that you want to find.

Click Next.
Each time you click Next the computer will find the next time the word is used on the page.
The next button is View.

Under the View button there are a couple of useful buttons. The view button has everything to do with how we see the web pages.
Under the Text Size button we should always have
the text size set to Medium.
If you ever want to make the website larger the easiest way to do this is to make the screen Full Screen. You can do this by pressing F11. Press it once to enter Full Screen. Press it again to exit Full Screen.
Next is Favorites.

Favorites are kind of like bookmarks. When we find a webpage that we like we can place a Favorites there. That way we can come back to it later. Here is how you make a favorite.
Find a website that you want to remember.
Click Favorites.
Click Add to Favorites.
You can then name the Favorite.
Click Add when you are ready to add the favorite.
