PowerPoint

PowerPoint is presentation software.  It doesn't come free though.  The cost is somewhere around $150.  There is a free alternative that you can ask me about if your would like.  It creates a slideshow we can show to other people.  We can use PowerPoint to show people a recent vacation.  Information about upcoming activities.  The ten top reasons for coming to a party.

1. Click Start.

2. Click All Programs.

3. Find Microsoft Power Point and click it.

4. The program will show you the first slide of your slideshow. 

5. Click in the box where you want to add the title.

6. Click in the box where you want to add the subtitle.

7. We need to add some color.

8. Click format.

9. Click Slide Design. 

10. All the different colors you can choose will show up on the right side of the screen.  Click the down arrows on the right side to look at more colors. 

11. When you find the one you want go ahead and click it.  Now your entire slide show will be that color.

12. You are now ready to insert a new slide.

13. Click Insert.

14. Click New Slide. 

15. You can 5 more slides about Thanksgiving or any other show you would like to give.

16. When you are ready to look at the slide show do the following.

17. Click Slide Show.

18. Click View Show.
