Continuing with Borders
- Start up Microsoft Word.
- If your task pane is open like mine is you may want to close it.
Click on the to close it.
The task pane is on the right side of the screen.
- Find the zoom amount in the tool bar.
- Click the down arrow next to the zoom amount and set it to "Page Width."
- Click File.
- Click Page Setup.
- Click Layout at the top.
- Click Borders.
- Experiment with all the options you see on the next screen until you set
the border up as you want it.
- Click Ok.
- Now there is a border around your document.
Now we are ready to start typing a letter.
- We want to have the date appear on the right of the screen. We do
this by clicking Align Right.

- Now type in the date.

- Press enter twice. Type Dear ....

- Click Format. Click Paragraph.

- Set your line spacing to double.

- Click Ok.

- Now you can type the rest of your letter.
