Here is how to put an audio book on a CD

There are a couple of different places to get free audio books.  Here is one:

These are high quality audio books from this website.  They are read by actors.

This part of the lesson is assuming that you already now how to download and save the audio book.  If you don't go to the download lesson by clicking here.

To begin this lesson you should have all your files saved in one folder.  You will also need a blank CD.

  1. Put the blank CD in your computer.

  2. Click Start.

  3. Click Programs.

  4. Click Windows Media Player. 

  5. Out of the option at the top click Burn. 

  6. Drag your files into the column on the left. 

  7. Note:  Each CD can only carry 79 minutes. 

  8. We will be dragging chapters over until we fill the 79 minutes.  It will take 8 or 9 CD's for the entire book.

  9. We need to move the Windows Media Player to the left.  Click on the right edge of Media Player and drag it to the left. 

  10. Open the folder containing your story.

  11. You will need to place this folder to the right of your Media Player. 

  12. Drag each chapter into the Media Player.

  13. If you put to much audio on one CD it will automatically be placed onto the next CD. 

  14. Click Start Burn. 

  15. The burn process will take 5 to 10 minutes.

  16. When the CD is done the CD recorder will eject it out of the computer.

  17. When you take it out use a sharpie marker to label it.

  18. Now move onto the next couple of chapters.
