We have a situation in the class.  Somebody wanted to print something from the Internet.  It was just a recipe and when the person printed the recipe 8 other pages printed with it.  Now the printer is half empty with ink and 7 extra pages had to be thrown away.  Here is one solution:

We are going to get text from www.gutenberg.org.  It is a website that provides free books.

  1. Go to the website www.gutenberg.org.
  2. I clicked on Top 100 downloads.
  3. Find a book that you are interested in.  I chose Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll (191)
  4. On the next page we have to scroll down to the download page.
  5. I went to the HTML page to download.
  6. Click main site to open the book.
  7. If you like the book and want to come back to the book click favorites and add to favorites in Internet Explorer.
  8. Find some text that you would like to select and copy.  At the beginning of the text left click.
  9. Hold the left click down and drag down so you select the text you want.
  10. Hold the CTRL Key and press the letter C.
  11. Click Start.
  12. Place your mouse over all programs.
  13. Click Microsoft Word.
  14. Hold the CTRL Key and press the letter V.
  15. This will paste the text.
