All About Drive Letters
Click Start.
Click My Computer.
When you click My Computer your drives are going to appear.
Here is what mine looks like.

Here is what the drives are:
This is where
are the computer files are kept. This is the most important drive.
We can right click on the drive to see how much memory we have.
When we right click a menu will appear and we will click
properties.
When you click properties you will be shown a pie chart
of your hard drive. It will show you much space you have used and
how much you have left.

Next to your Local Disc is a DVD or CD Drive. It looks
like this.
I have one additional drive and that is a memory card for a
camera. It looks like this.

I'm going to double click the memory card.
That takes me to another folder that contains the
picture. It looks like this.

Now I can double click this folder and find my pictures.
Now the questions might come up, "how do I move my pictures to my computer?"
I'm going to drag the picture folder over to the left
side of the screen.

Now I will click Start and then My Pictures.

Drag this folder to the right side of the screen.
Now I can drag folders from the memory card to the folder named "My Pictures."
