We covered quite a few topics in this lesson. Lets start with copying and pasting.
To copy something we first need to select the text. With the left mouse click, click and drag down over the text you want to copy.
When you have selected what you want to copy let go of the left click button.
On the keyboard Hold the Ctrl Key and press the C Key.
In Microsoft Word Hold the Ctrl Key and press the V Key.
Ctrl C - Copy
Ctrl V - Paste
Question: How do we change the margins in Microsoft Word?
Answer - The easy way. You may think the easy way is to
click at the top of Microsoft Words and drag the margin to the left. You
can change the margins in this area of Microsoft Word.

WARNING - This may seem like the easy way but I don't think it is. Here is the easy way to change margins.
Click File.
Click Page Setup.

Change the margins as you would like.

If you make the margins too small - Microsoft Word will ask
if it can be fixed for you. The question looks like this:

On the margins page is a default button on the bottom left
hand corner.
DON'T CLICK the default button. If you click it Microsoft Word
will always use the margins that you just set.
Dennis asked if there was a way to setup his margins especially for notebook paper. I told him to set his left margin to 1.5 inches.
How to set columns.
You can setup newspaper columns in Microsoft Word rather easily. The hardest part is finding the columns button.
Locate the Columns Button.

Click it once. It will show you options. Click
the number of columns you want.
