Cleaning Spyware off of your Computer

1. Go to the website www.lavasoft.com. 

2. Click the Home button.

3. Click on the Ad-Aware Free button. 

4. Click the download free button.  This button is all the way on the right. 

5. Click download on the left. 

6. Click Download Now. 

7. Click the yellow bar at the top. 

8. Click download file. 

9. On the next box click open. 

10. Click Run. 

11. Click Ok after you select the language. 

12. Click next on the introduction screen. 

13. Click I accept. 

14. Click Next. 

15. Click Install. 

16. Click Finish. 

17. Now Ad-Aware will update automatically. 

Now to perform our first cleaning.

1. Find the Ad-Aware icon and double click it. 

2. Click Close on the next question. 

3. Click the big green scan button. 

4. Click Scan Now at the bottom. 

5. After a scan you will be shown what was found. 

6. Click Perform Actions. 

7. You have now cleaned your computer.

You should do this once a quarter, once a month, once a week, or as necessary.  "The Hitman," suggested hourly or daily.
