Family Trees With Microsoft Word 2010
We can use Microsoft Word 2010 to make a family tree. It is an easy process.
Start Microsoft Word 2010.

Click File.
Click New. 
Click Charts and Diagrams.

Double Click Business charts. I think it is funny that
Family Trees are located in Business charts.

Double Click Family Tree Generations.

You will need to zoom in and out to work on different parts of the tree. Here is how to zoom.
Click View. ![]()
Here are the different options for zooming.

The family tree has lines in each apple. We have to
delete the lines on the apple.

Click on the line underneath My Grandfather. To delete the line to the right press the Delete Key. To delete the line to the left press the Backspace Key.
Now you can type in your own name.
When you delete the line your typed name may be off center. Here is how to re-center your name.
Click Home. ![]()
