Microsoft Word 2010 Page Numbers

Here is how to add page numbers in Microsoft Word 2010.  It is similar to other programs but not exactly the same.

  1. Start Microsoft Word. 
  2. Click Insert. 
  3. Click Page Number under header and footer. 
  4. Click Bottom of page. 
  5. Select where you want the page number to appear. 
  6. Now an example of the page number will show up at the bottom. 
  7. To exit press the Esc (escape) so you can begin typing.
  8. Now to enter the date.
  9. Click Insert again. 
  10. Click Date and Time. 
  11. Click the style of Date and Time that you want and then click Ok. 
  12. Click Review. 
  13. It will then show you information about your document. 

To figure out your writing level by grade.

  1. Click File. 
  2. Click Options. 
  3. Click Proofing. 
  4. Put a checkmark in the "Show Readability Statistics." 
  5. Click Ok.
  6. Now click Review. 
  7. Check your spelling and grammar. 
  8. After it is all done checking you will get a reading level.
