Cleaning a Computer (Inside and Inside)

How often should I clean my computer?  Once a year depending on the environment.

Use the Bounce Dryer Sheets to collect the dust from your computer.  They don't need to be new.  They might even work better after they have been used.  5 or 6 of them would clean a computer.

We used Katherine's can of air to clean her computer.  It did a great job.  The can was called Clean Safe Dust Remover Moisture-Free Cleaning.  It was easy and didn't shoot the dust everywhere.  She bought it for $8 at Staples.  You can get 2 for $12.  The can of air does well with a keyboard. 

Here is how to clean a mouse with a ball inside.  Throw it away and get one with a light on the bottom.

How to clean the working insides of your computer.

1.  How to clean your computer for Internet Use:

1. Start up Internet Explorer.

2. Click Tools in the menu bar.

3. Click Internet Options which is at the bottom.

4. Click Delete Cookies.

5. Click Ok. (WARNING:  Do not do this until you write your username and passwords down)

6. Click Delete Files

7. Click Ok

History:

Click .  This is the history button.  On the left a history pane will show up.  You can now click on the different days to see what websites were looked at.
