Searching for Hobbies on the Internet
- Click Start.
- Click Programs.
- Click Internet Explorer
- In the address bar type www.google.com.

- In the search bar type in your hobby.

- Click Google Search.
- Watch out for advertising it is everywhere on the Internet. When
you search with Google the top and the side are advertisements.
- Here is what you will see. The top and right side are
advertisements. I highlighted them in red to show you what is
advertising.

- A list of websites to click on will be shown. Google shows 10
websites at a time. They give you a:
- Title
- Brief description
- Website Address
- Here is what you will see.

- The title is underlined. That is what you need to click on.
- The description is in black.
- The website is in green.
- The word cached means the website that is in Google's memory.
Google remembers all the websites that it lists.
- Click on similar pages to find pages that are similiar.
- When you click on a title you may or may not like it. If you like
it keep on exploring.
- If you don't like it you can go back to Google and click a different
title. Click on the back button at the top left.
