Labels and Letters

You can create labels easily for letters, folders, recipe books, woodworking books, nametags, labels for canning or bottling, or anything else that needs a label.  Labels can be purchased at Wal Mart, Target, Staples, Office Max or Depot.

  1. Click Start.

  2. Click Programs.

  3. Click Microsoft Word.

  4. Click Tools.

  5. Click Envelopes and Labels.

  6. If you don't see Envelopes and Labels you need to click "Letters and Mailings" first.

  7. In the tab area click Label.

  8. Click Options.

  9. Set your Label Product to what label you are using.

  10. Set your Product Number.

  11. Click Ok.

  12. Type the address in the address box.

  13. Leave the circle in Full page of the same label.

  14. Click New Document.

  15. This will show a page all with the same address.

  16. Lets say you want to have a page of labels with nothing on it.

  17. Leave the address blank and click New Document.

  18. When you click on New Document you will have a page of Labels that can be printed.  If it is a bunch of labels with nothing in it we want to see the lines between each label.  To see the lines between the labels click Labels and then Show Gridlines.
