Lets Go Shopping

*****The first time you but something you should probably have a friend or somebody who has done it before.*****

Things to be careful and aware of:

• I only buy from websites I trust.

• If it is a trusted website feel confident that your personal information won't be stolen.

• 1 thing to look for when making your transaction is the yellow padlock.  It looks like this and means any information you send to the company is secure.

  • www.amazon.com

  • www.homedepot.com

  • www.lowes.com

  • Any large store you would see in your city

  To buy something you have to register with them.  That means giving them an e-mail account and a password.

  You will have to make sure to read all the directions to complete the purchase.

1. Look for a button that says add to shopping cart. 

2. Click on the cart at the top to check out what is in your shopping cart. 

3. Click Proceed to Checkout. 

4. Log in using your username and password.  You might have to create a new name and password if this is your first time.

5. You will have to put in a credit card number to finish the purchase.
