These are some useful shortcuts to use on the computer.

  • CTRL + A:  Selects or highlights all of the document

  • CTRL + B:  Applies bold to highlighted characters

  • CTRL + C:  Copies highlighted text to the clipboard

  • CTRL + End:  Jumps to end of open an document

  • CTRL + F:  Displays find dialogue box

  • CTRL + H:  Opens Replace dialogue box

  • CTRL + Home:  Jumps to the beginning of a documents

  • CTRL + Right or Left Arrow Key:  Jumps one paragraph up or down

  • CTRL + V:  Pastes text from clipboard

  • CTRL + W:  Closes current document

  • CTRL + X:  Cuts highlighted text and places a copy on the clipboard

  • CTRL + Z:  Undoes last action

  • ESC:  Closes a dialogue box without performing any action
