Tables

Tables are nice for picnics, meetings, and a
myriad of other things. Tables are also nice in computers. Here is
what a table looks like:
This is a 4 x 5 tables. There are 4 rows and 5 columns. It is
nice for creating lists.
Here is how to make a table.
- Click Start.
- Click Programs.
- Click Microsoft Word.
- Look on your toolbar for a symbol that looks like this

- Click on the button and you will get a list of tables like this
.
- Once you have the number of rows and columns that you would like click
once.
Good job. You have a basic table in front of you. Here are some
ideas of how to work on your table.
Lets say you want everything in the table to be centered. Do the
following:
- Go to the top left of your table. Use your for arrow keys to move
around and get to the top left of your table.
- Hold down the shift button.
- Keep your shift button held down.
- Keep holding your shift button down.
- Use your arrow keys and move to the bottom right.
- Let go of the shift button.
- Go to your toolbar and push the center button.
- Your center button looks like this

- Now everything is centered.
