What is this.... another Snowman

  1. Now for the trees.
  2. We need to move our insertion point.  A red circle should appear to the left.
  3. Left click to the side of the snowman. 
  4. Switch to top view. 
  5. Click >Add  >Mesh  >Cone. 
  6. Press the S KEY to scale it a little bigger. 
  7. Go to front view.
  8. Press the G KEY and move it up a little.
  9. Select the bottom vertices and move them up a little. 
  10. Press F5 for materials. 
  11. Click Add New. 
  12. Name the material fir tree. 
  13. Click the texture button. 
  14. Click Add New. 
  15. Set your texture type to image. 
  16. Click Load. 
  17. Navigate to your picture by clicking the two triangles. 
  18. Click select image.
  19. Set the X Repeat value to 2. 
  20. Go into object mode.
  21. Press Shift D.
  22. Move the next cone down a little.
  23. Press the S key to make it bigger.
  24. Press Shift D.
  25. Move the next cone down a little.
  26. Press the S key to make it bigger.
  27. Select all three pieces of the tree.  Hold the Shift Key and right click each piece. 
  28. Press Ctrl J to join them.
  29. Click join selected meshes. 
  30. Using Shift D create a little forest.
  31. Add some additional lighting and see what you get.
